FireflyFacts 60/98 | Cast and Characters

Angel Facts 107/208 | Long Day’s Journey, Season Four
“LONG DAY’S JOURNEY was dedicated in loving memory to Glenn Quinn, who played Doyle. He had tragically died on December 3rd, 202, and this was the first episode made after his death.”
Doyle: The good fight yeah? You never know till you’ve been tested. I get that now.
Cordelia: Doyle pissed me off so righteously going out like that. But he knew. Knew what he had to do, didn’t even compromise. Used his last breath to make sure you’d keep fighting. I get that now.
Doyle to Angel before sacrificing himself in his final episode:
“The good fight, yeah? You never know until you’re tested. I get that now.”
Cordelia to Angel about Doyle’s sacrifice as she realises she only has a few hours left to save Angel and then leave this planet forever, in her final episode:
“He knew, knew what he had to do, didn’t compromise. He used his last breath to make sure you’d keep fighting. I get that now.”
I think that just shows how entwined Cordy and Doyle really were. It’s so beautiful and it makes me want to cry just thinking about Hero and You’re Welcome!
