Cordelia to Angel about Doyle’s sacrifice as she realises she only has a few hours left to save Angel and then leave this planet forever, in her final episode:
“He knew, knew what he had to do, didn’t compromise. He used his last breath to make sure you’d keep fighting. I get that now.”
I think that just shows how entwined Cordy and Doyle really were. It’s so beautiful and it makes me want to cry just thinking about Hero and You’re Welcome!
