#I think this photoset is absolutely perfect tbh. #Damon has always cared. #He just forgot how to show it for the longest time until he met Elena. #Elena made him want to feel those feelings again. #Elena made him want to care. #And slowly by growing to care (and eventually fall in love) with her… Damon started to care about everyone else around him again too. #I think Damon truly fell in love with Elena because she not only cared about him but inspired him to care about others around him as well… #I think that’s what made me fall in love with Damon’s character from the very beginning. #We all knew he always cared. We were just waiting for someone to make him show it again. #And then… Elena came along and did exactly that.
